I feel like this is a bad move but at the same time the conversation needs to be heard. Even in Canada racial discrimination still continues even in Media. A lot of people who are in media who are black have a hard time expressing how they feel when they're in the workplace because of racial discrimination and it has been getting harder and harder. Being tokenized in industry and have your self-worth thrown out the door is awful. I hope one day we're able to get past this in the industry here.
