  • Most accurate picture of Ramses II’s face reconstructed with modern technology....SMH.

Man what a d**n lie. That picture of Rameses is bull. Ramses was a black man. Sometimes, I wonder why won't they tell the truth about Ancient Egyptians. They don't try to whitewash the history of any other group of people. However, every time it's a black person, they always turn black figures in history white. They did the same with Hannibal Barca. They will never admit that the Ancient Egyptians were black.

The show Roots and wings will unveil, on September 28, the physiognomy of the pharaoh reconstructed by scientists.

What did the illustrious pharaoh look like with 103 children, 200 concubines and eleven wives, including the famous Nefertari? Thanks to the careful reconstruction work of a team of scientists, the whole world can finally put a face to the legendary Ramesses II3300 years after his death.

As part of the bicentenary of the decipherment of hieroglyphs by Champollion, the program Roots and wings will reveal, on September 28 at 9:10 p.m. on France 3, the face of the pharaoh at the age of 45 and at the age of 91. First unseen images have been unveiled by France Info.

Led by Caroline Wilkinson, a forensic anthropologist from Liverpool John Moores University, and Sahar Saleem, a paleoradiologist at Cairo University, the team of experts worked on the mummy housed in the Museum of Civilizations in Cairo. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies, they were able todecipher the skull of Ramses II to restore him to flesh», Specifies a press release from the channel. Sahar Saleem has already distinguished herself in the study of several other famous mummies, including those of Seti I or Tutankhamun.
