  • How old were you when you first got a job?

I was 15 and I also had my driver's license.

And it was a bunch of us working with grown folks raising their families off the same job

I am a computer geek and I use photoshop to crop the pics for a magazine when I started my first job. Now I am a professional web developer.

      16.

I got an internship at MTA in NYC through my high school. It was paid so bonus points. Miniscule office work - stuff like data entry and yadda yadda but it was a great stepping stool in getting my feet wet in the working world. My supervisor was also a respectable BM and bought me lunch a lot. Shout out Mr. Franklin

Having a BM boss is a luxury. They are like unicorns

There was a Kroger where you lived. I thought that was a new store

Yep. Kroger's, back when I was coming up, were very common in Virginia. That was my first job.

I don't think that I have ever been to Virginia Beach.

                    You're not missing much.

The beaches of the outer banks in NC are much better .

It's a great place to grow up and raise a family

Wow! What a young age to be employed with such a complex history. Would you do it again

I honestly would have gone to college first to get a bit more life experience, but yeah I think overall, I would have done it again.

I respect your honesty. My father went to college and joined the military.

Hr encouraged college for the life experience and made me stay on campus all 4 years
