  • I would like to think it's just coincidence but I think my facebook account is either being targed by facebook or hacker of some sort....

I say this because ever since decided to start being active on it and specially attempting to use it's live streaming part, have had all kinds of issues with Facebook.
I say with facebook because if it was on myside, one would assume he would have issues with Youtube streaming and Twitch. But nope only facebook, they seem to hate music playing of any sort if it's not going through them. I tested I wanted to how they deal with artist music and of course they are the most strict. Because I have gotten message while on one stream where I was playing someone's album that just said if keep on playing this audio we are going to just shut it down or something. Like it didn't seem like a automated message.

So I was like fine okay can't play nobody stuff so I will play my own original stuff I have created. Some of the tracks or literally up for sell on reverbnation. But to try and make a long story short I continued for a while to do test streams on there only playing my music I have created while doing stuff. When I go to watch the playback as a user would see it. It would always be some weird playback issue, specifically with my music they literally included constant skip and other sound artifacts in it and it's like if you create music that's something you are going to notice right away that's it not like streaming quality issue. So tonight I started a stream after about 30 mins I crashed when I was switch windows to look at something and the game I was streaming was loading a match. So I reboot fixing to hop back on I see notification saying some what looks like Arabic company added a copyright claim and link to my live as I'm streaming. because it showed it was few minutes ago? And the link conveniently says check their page out for new original videos. wtf?

So definitely any suggestions, comments are appreciated of course face book doesn't have a way for regular person to talk to person, so I have filed two support tickets with them, but don't have anything is going to happen with that.
I for some reason though strongly feel, my account is not hacked but facebook allowed this to happen on purpose. To make me stop using their platform since I'm not in any of their programs.Click image for larger version

This just sucks though, because it just seems like another money barrier, if I have to some type of legal so I'm not getting done up in my live stream with my original work

Yeah. That's definitely a problem on their end.

Facebook and YouTube are very cautious about copyright music.

YouTube vloggers have the same issue on both platform. But if you're seeing something in Arabic maybe you should change your password. If you think you were hacked

The crazy part is I have never had this happen on youtube, I have been putting stuff on there for over 10yrs. I lot of my videos are copyright claimed because I purposely play my music that I own and the artist have a video of it on youtube. Like I did for the Isley Brother's one, I will some time put the artist's links to their page or whatever to get the original specially if I see they are independent. The record labels auto claim copyright most of them. So atleast I try to just play black artists. On youtube I can stop the stream start it up back up and play my own stuff no problems/ no copyright claims. But then again that could be some hacking, since facebook is more personal. But not going to lie I can't think of how and why?

Have you tried using royalty free music?

No, because I don't mind my videos being copyright claimed on youtube. Unless I understood their system wrong because the views, interactions all that I thought still count in leveling your channel? The idea is I never planned to try and commercialize those videos where I played other people's music in. Then if I wasn't playing artist's music I like, I would be playing/promoting my own stuff. Which I was saying seems to work well on youtube. But facebook seems to employ all kind of weird stuff when it comes to music. Which I really think is because they don't want music on their servers if you are not in their music program. Which if that's the case, why don't you just say that somewhere?

It's know Facebook will mute a live stream if it has copyrighted material. I guess they don't want no more lawsuits than they have
