VH1 special - Growing up Black in Atlanta

This show talks about growing up in Atlanta, GA. I have never been to Atlanta. I came from the East Coast, from VA, all the way to California when I was 19 years old. I feel like maybe I should have moved somewhere else, like Atlanta, or DC, or somewhere on the East Coast, where there is more of a black population, when I was younger. Honestly, the only good thing that I can say about being in CA is the weather is good. Well, it's good in the Bay Area, anyway. I went through too much stuff out here in CA trying to live. It may be different now, for black men, due to all of the movements that have taken place lately. However, when I was coming up out here, it wasn't good at all. Anyway, is there anybody in here from Atlanta? Or, has anybody on here ever visited the city?
