Those beats give a Casio / 80s feel to it
Especially the use of the high hats-
I was glad when I came across those samples in that session, I generally gravitated and liked those I think because I think those sounds were playing when I was growing up in 81. Seems to be that the 70s stuff and ballads because I strongly think I can sing. But of course if you were forced to go to a black Christian church, it was awesome though, that was the best part for me was the singing. Since there were no instruments and the entire church sings and if you were very observant you could hear people adjust to either be lower or louder in their parts they were good at. lol smh.
