Thank you for sharing this article. I would say yes and no in the context of trying to innovation. The technology that China has is a double-edged sword when it comes to innovation. In the past and I would even say in the future in the present China policy within the CCP regarding companies being able to operate in China require an open data policy when it comes to using their manufacturing process in their country. What does that mean? It means that company Secrets or data is still transferred to the Chinese government or hence the CCP. That includes intellectual property. It has been a problem since the signing of trade between the United States and China and other partners around the world. That is why most Western countries and other countries in general are considering either moving out of China with their Manufacturing in different countries or limiting their manufacturing prowess in China due to the policy that was used all these years. For example the current plane that you're showing here known as the j20 which is China's stealth fighter has been ripped from the original F-22 Raptor. This plane was very top secret back in the early nineties. But because some of the parts are coming from all over the planet not everything on that plane is 100% All American parts. Reverse engineering a specific plane for say Warfare is very easy if you are doing everything outside of your country. The data breach is still unclear from higher sources from intelligence assets between the United States and other Western countries but the fact is the j20 was created for the Chinese governments defense purposes allegedly. I don't support the idea of non-free trade but when it comes to diplomacy and having your assets taken from you that affects businesses on your side of the border and in my side of the Border it not right. Intellectual property from our inventors needs more support from our governments when it comes to patents. The secondary problem that is in China is that they don't support a lot of their Innovation that much unless it is funded by CCP investors other than say private investors based on how their system works. It's a very complicated situation but it's changing now in the premise of past the early 21st century but back in the early 90s and before that it was incredibly difficult in order to start any form of innovation and technological upgrades to their businesses or projects for any specific Corporation in China. Now it's gotten a lot better and they're focusing now on research and development and innovation in any of the corporations in that country alone. In conclusion from this article I will say this. There's an old saying there is more than one way to skin a cat. And when it comes to China there's more than one way to create any form of Technology.
