    What a tragedy. I hope that everyone got out of it ok.

    The 10:43 a.m. train was on its way from Grand Central to Hempstead  when it derailed east of Jamaica in Queens at 11.15am. The cause of the derailment remains unknown.

          How such an incident happened. It seems like a rare and unfortunate event that could have been prevented with more care and attention.
