Texas delays publication of maternal death data until after midterms, legislative session.

It looks like a lot of women are dying due to pregnancy-related deaths.

Texas maternal death rate study delayed until mid-2023

Delay means lawmakers won’t likely be able to use the analysis until the 2025 legislative cycle. The most recent state-level data available is nine years old.

It's delayed until next year and the organization uses the data for government grants.

If women especially BW are at risk why wait?
