Man, one thing that I fear when riding planes, is that something will go wrong when the plane is way up in the air. I know that they say that riding a plane is one of the safest ways to travel. But, if something goes wrong, that's all she wrote.

A Hawaiian Airlines flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Honolulu, Hawaii experienced severe turbulence approximately 30 minutes before landing on Sunday, resulting in the injury of at least 36 people.

The good news is that even the most severe turbulence can rarely cause an airct to crash. The bad news is that pilots can't do much to migrate the effects of turbulence, so buckle up for a bumpy ride.
