Who in this forum builds computers?

Yea, and that was TWO years ago! I built that machine for a guy who I use to do a TV computer show with on computers, mainly for novices. We did that show when tech was really big on TV. As a matter of fact, Leo LaPorte an Megan Morrone from the show "The Screen Savers" (on TechTV), was on our show during its heyday..

What do you prefer? Intel or AMD. I prefer AMD. I have been rocking with them since the AMD Athlon back in the day.

It totally depends on what the computer is going to be used for. If it is strictly gaming then I'm going to us an AMD chip. For a combination of office work and gaming, I'm going to use a Intel.chip. Some computers I build are going to only run a specific software package and that package will normally call for a specific chip.
