Its hard being a black man in white dominated society. Black men experience racism in all aspects of society; in the workplace, at the grocery store, as well as racism in the dating market etc. There are enemies all around us, and their is a way to deal with our enemies. Pray for them. Yes, pray for your enemies. And dont seek revenge. Love your enemies.
Luke 6: 27 - 28
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Romans 12: 17-21
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
