Okay so I came across this group I joined on FB called Afrofuturism Central since I have been a member for a while it makes me question why are we(black people/on their mostly native African it seems) so into this being used for art? I had to literally look up some people to see if their profiles are real black people.

It is just weird for me to see others of us promoting this. But I will admit I feel this way because I see Ai only benefitting those that are already in a good position/postions of power, wealthy, high position in the industry. This in turn just makes it harder/slows down others from ever getting there, when complex stuff can either be only done if you already have the money and access, eliminates the possibility of chance. Unless the "possibility of chance" never existed thus is why Ai is being pushed in to everything. Even if that's the case, it seems still we will benefit the least from this.

Ai still is something created based on the creators thoughts and perspectives even though algorithms used for imagery and chat bots machine learning are supposed to be nuetral type of algorithms.​​
